The Mojito originates from Cuba and is typically made from light rum, fresh lime, and mint. It is simple and easy to make, that is the reason why it is one of the most popular cocktails.
3 oz The Tides Rum
1 oz Simple Syrup (use equal parts sugar and water, bring to a boil until all sugar is dissolved. Allow to cool)
Muddle a few leaves of fresh mint
3 oz soda water
Fresh squeezed lime
Serve with Mint garnish and slices of lime
Muddle a few leaves of fresh mint with fresh squeezed lime juice and simple syrup. Add The Tides Rum. Add ice and give it a nice stir. Top off with club soda. Add mint garnish and slices of fresh lime. We like our lime sliced thin and rimmed around the inside of the glass.
